They operate the lock and dams on the Mississippi but are also involved in storm water management as those systems carry rain water, pollutants and sediment into our rivers and streams and eventually into the ocean. |

A sobering account of one young mans indoctrination into adulthood in arguable one of the most horrific ways. Bills experience resulting in him dedicating his life to ensuring good public policy as he felt the war was a result of elected officials not receiving the information and advise needed as this was a tradegy for all. |

Mn Council of Foundations - Update on Philanthropy

Susie Brown is the President of the Minnesota Council on Foundations, a position she has held since April 2019. Prior to that Susie has spent her career in the nonprofit sector, the last 20 years in Minnesota. Mostly recently she was the executive director of the Hennepin County Bar Association, and following a successful merger, the chief perating officer of the combined Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association and Ramsey County Bar Association. She also served as the public policy director for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, and, for 10 years on the faculty at the Hamline University School of Business, where she taught in the Masters of Nonprofit Management program. Susie grew up in the St. Croix Valley, and lives in St. Paul with her husband and daughter. |
